A good (but slightly flawed movie) BUT a GREAT transfer by ShowTown!
M. Night Shyamalan's movie making career started with such a phenomenal bang with the superb and highly successful 'The Sixth Sense'... that everything he directed after was unfairly judged against that brilliant debut. Some of his movies are undoubtedly better than others. 'The Village' (with it's all star cast) is a good (but slightly flawed movie). It certainly has some very suspenseful moments and the acting is superb. BUT what is not in doubt... is yet another GREAT transfer by ShowTown! Well done guys. It looks spectacular and there are LOADS of great supplements and extras on here too. The film may divide opinion, but this is a great release! Thank you ShowTown!
