Zeer goede set waarbij de kwaliteit erg hoog is. De kwaliteit van de films is zo goed als ze kunnen zijn met de middelen die ze voorhanden hadden. Alleen maar lof en een goede aankoop als je de originele films wil zien.

Star Wars as it was in Theaters!
At this time this is the closest you will ever get to seeing these films as they were in theaters at time. These are actual film prints restored to how they looked in the 70s/80s. The colors look natural and looks/feels much like how they would have been back in the day. Empire is the only one with a few scenes that are in poor shape however it’s still watchable and in my opinion, these render all versions obsolete.

essential home video collection
if you are like me and believe that the "special editions" of the original trilogy are sacrilegious, then this collection is indeed a holy miracle. the picture will stand up to a pepsi challenge with most from-the-70s-and-80s studio-funded video remasters; but the fact that this is a fan edit done in spit of rather than in concert with the studios and the filmmakers makes this collection and its incredible quality all the more remarkable. if you are a phys media cinephile, this is atop the heap of "bootleg" content you must own. the extras that come with this set are totally worth it - way more awesomeness than one would expect from even a legit studio product. this is an essential volume in any collector's shelf.
