Akira Kurosawa's Stray Dog (1949) Blu-ray

The movie is perfect. A rookie cop has his gun stolen, then used to commit crimes. The uptight rookie feels increasing guilt for every person harmed by his own carelssness, as he tries to hunt the killer. The transfer is also great! It's a little scratchy and faded, but it's like watching a real film print in an art house cinema. Inperfections are part of the fun!
