The Gorge (2025) 4K UHD Blu-ray

The movie quality is great and the packaging is good. There isn't any menu or additional features so it just goes right to the movie, but that's okay. You can still skip chapters if need be.

Why did I waste my time buying a Chinese Blu-ray rip of The Gorge? It cost me about $30 and took over a month to get stateside. Worst of all, the sound format was not the claimed 5.1; instead, it only output sound from the front left channel. Great video quality, but the seller didn’t bother to check the audio transfer. Enter: Showtown Apparel. Not only was the turnaround far faster, but I was able to order a true 4K disc with confirmed 5.1 surround sound. There is no Title Menu or Special Features, but this is not a dealbreaker: all I wanted was HD audio and video and I got both. SA’s Customer Service Team was very patient and gracious with my questions before I committed to purchase. This was my first time as a customer of theirs and I’m eager to be one again.
