4k and Blu-ray editions of Song of the South

This the 3rd copy of Song of the South that I have purchased. It is also the clearest of the three. I wouldn't give up the other 2 as they have added animation that isn't on this Disc.

Magnificent Disney classic in Superior HD Quality ever available.

Walt Disney's early film diversification into heart-warming live-action story telling with a generous dose of excellent animation makes this a marvelous movie to enjoy over and over again. I had ordered the Blu-ray edition and had to come back to get the 4K release and was delighted with the high quality of this product even more. Thoroughly delighted with this purchase and can't understand why the Walt Disney Company wants to keep this beautiful film locked away in their film vaults. If they are concerned about offending the sensitivity of people of color with the representation of freed black slaves during the reconstruction era after the civil war, I consider Selznick's Gone With The Wind far more offensive in stereotyping it's colored slaves but nobody seems to complain about that classic film. Even Whoopie Goldberg has inquired on a couple of occasions with Bob Iger why the WDHE division hasn't released Song Of the South yet. She loved ( as well as practically everyone else who saw this film) Uncle Remus' character masterfully portrayed by actor James Baskett who won an honorary Oscar award by the AMPAS for his excellent performance with very little direction by live-action Director, Harvey Foster. This is my favorite Walt Disney production and the combining of live actors with animated characters quite perfect considering it was made almost 20 years before Disney's masterpiece, Mary Poppins.

    Amazing customer service

"I recently purchased a Blu-ray and a 4K of SOS and the Blu-ray didn't work but I reach out and got a replacement and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! Though I haven't had the chance to watch them all the way through, I did put them on briefly to check quality, and everything looks fantastic. The visuals are sharp and crisp, and everything played perfectly with no issues at all. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and the smooth buying process. Thank you for providing such a great product!"

The best that this admittedly problematic film has ever looked!
