Thanks for making both these versions available. I like both endings. You even included some interviews as extras. Picture and audio are superb.

    Jade special edition blu ray

My first purchase from yourselves and a great release. We've never had a blu-ray release of Jade in the UK of either cut so I'm delighted. Great to be able to finally see the longer cut and good that you managed to add some extras. Will be making some more purchases!

    Another GREAT release by ShowTown!

This is another terrific release by ShowTown. 1995's 'JADE' is (in my opinion) an underrated thriller released around the time that films like that were falling out of favor. Unfairly criticised by critics and largely ignored by audiences, William Friedkin's film has lots to recommend it for... not least an awesome car chase and very atmospheric score and a stylish aesthetic. All the performances are very solid... including David Caruso (then launching his brief movie career after NYPD Blue), Linda Fiorentino, Chazz Palminteri, Michael Biehn, Angie Everhart, and Richard Crenna. This disc includes both the Theatrical Cut and the Longer Director's Cut (previously very hard to find). The additional scenes are fine and don't harm the movie, but for the most part (except for the very end scenes) they don't really change the film that much either. The final few moments on the Longer Director's Cut really do impact on the outcome of the film (and one of it's characters) a lot though. Both cuts have excellent picture quality but the Theatrical Cut is clearly superior with HD being it's main source. The Director's Cut is not as sharp and well resolved BUT still looks by far better than it ever has before. There are also some nice interviews on the release and the films trailer. This is another fabulous release by ShowTown of an underappreciated 90's thriller. WELL DONE SHOWTOWN!!!
